Wordpress will automatically ping the blog directories listed every time a post is published. This means that wordpress will automatically ping blog directories that you belong to every time you add something to your site. This is a very powerful system because Wordpress directories automatically know when you add content, and then puts it on the internet the same day. In other words, you can post something, and then find it in the directory the same day. This adds more links to Google, which results in higher rankings.
Wordpress also has categories too. It may not seem like that big of a deal, but once you figure out that you can name the categories with the keywords that you’re targeting. This gives you a huge advantage over other websites and other blogging tools. You can have tons of categories that are named using your keyword targets, and also be able to post on that category. With a game plan, you can really kill your niche and achieve much higher search engine rankings doing this.
Also one of my favorite things about wordpress is the plugins. Just imagine that you’re in the middle of putting together a website and decide that you don’t like the way it looks. You can turn around and change the theme of the website without affecting the content of the website. Plus with plugins, you can install types of software that helps your site with spam, adding eBay auctions to your websites, backing up your wordpress files, and much more.
